Banking Issues

At the end of the last post I included a note that a bank deposit I had mailed more than three weeks ago had not been cleared by the bank and I assumed it was lost. This was a deposit totaling $620, which represented a significant loss. Lo and behold, now as it is into the 4th week since I mailed in the deposit, the checks have now found their way to where they needed to go. The money showed up this morning in my account.

What this event did, however, was to prompt me to make some changes to the way I have been handling my banking business. The bank I have used for nearly two decades is SunTrust. This bank offers mobile banking for people with a suitable smartphone or tablet computer. Why you cannot use a home PC for deposits, I don't know.

I had looked into this option a year ago, going so far as to download the SunTrust banking app on my Kindle Fire 8.9 HD tablet. When I ran the app it responded by stating that my tablet would not work due to its camera not having a high enough resolution. The Kindle Fire Tablet is unusual in that it has no rear facing camera, which are typically the higher resolution cameras on a tablet.

A brother in Christ wrote to me when I posted the note about the missing deposit last week and suggested I look into mobile banking. I explained my tablet issues, but took the suggestion to heart and called SunTrust to inquire if they had a list of tablet computers that would work with their mobile banking app. They did not have a list, merely suggesting I purchase an Android or iPad tablet that is a recent release to insure it has an up-to-date operating system, and to choose one with a higher resolution camera.

After some research I found that Amazon was selling refurbished Lenovo IdeaPad tablets for $164 (they have now dropped to $159). They run the latest Android OS and have an 8 megapixel camera. This tablet's features are equivalent to other tablets costing $400, and they have excellent reviews for quality and functionality. My new tablet should be arriving today and I will load the Kindle apps on the Lenovo and then get rid of the Kindle tablet. (In a motorhome, getting rid of extraneous devices is essential lest one become overwhelmed with clutter.)

In dealing with this issue, I have pondered how long it will be before all of us are having banking problems of the kind being experienced by the people of Greece. I truly hope that there will remain some normalcy to societal infrastructure as I consider all the men in prison that I am sending out newsletters to every week. These men dwell in very dark spiritual environments, and I know how much it means to them to receive some solid spiritual food to revive their flagging souls.

I received a notable letter from a man in prison last week who was writing to request being added to the mailing list. His words reveal the hunger present in some of the men in these evil places. He said while he was in his cell someone passed him one of my newsletters. He began to read it and quickly became excited. He read it a second time, then a third. His spirit was greatly stirred and he said he went to the door of his cell and began to shout, "Who sent me this newsletter!? Where did it come from!?" He finally tracked it to its source and was told that all he needed to do was write to me and he could begin receiving his own newsletters.

I am now spending at least two full days a week handling the prison ministry. I cannot even fit all of the outgoing newsletters in my mailbox. I completely fill the mailbox, packing them two rows deep, and I still have to go out the next day and send out the rest that would not fit. The postage, paper, toner, and other printing supplies is now approaching $1,000 a month. Yahweh has met every need. As the number of men in prison receiving the newsletters has increased, so has Yahweh's supply. My prayer is that no matter what occurs in this nation (and an economic collapse is certain) that Yahweh will make a way for the newsletters to continue to go forth to these men in prison.

I spent additional time this week-end on the prison ministry as I had run out of new material to send to a number of men who have been on the mailing list for more than two years. I needed to convert another one of my books to newsletter format. The book chosen this time is Push Back. Homosexuality is a problem in prisons, and the message of this book is needed. My prayer is that the newsletters would set the captives free and bolster those men who are tempted by this sin. The book required 9 newsletters to contain it all, which is two more months of mailings for these men.

My sincere thanks go out to all the brothers and sisters in Christ whose financial giving makes it possible to continue this ministry. Be encouraged by the words of our Lord.

Matthew 25:34-41
"Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 'For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.' Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' And the King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'"

Can a Christian Be a Prepper? - Part Two

Joseph Herrin (07-24-2015)

In previous blog posts I have shared some of the experiences of a brother in Christ named Jeff Higdon, and how the Father led he and his family from Texas to Idaho.

Storm Haven
http://parablesblog.blogspot.com/2015/05/storm-haven.html

Jeff and his wife Mary purchased five acres of land and have been working on it for a couple of years now. He has had limited funds to work with, and has acquired many items free, or very inexpensively, through Craigslist and other sources. This includes their 35 foot long park model trailer that has two slide-outs. This serves as the home for Jeff, his, wife, and his three daughters who remain at home. Jeff’s daughters are very much involved in the home preparations. They are into animal husbandry; raising sheep, goats, and chickens. They are gardening, and have created some raised garden beds using discarded tires that were left on the property.

Jeff’s property is not serviced by utilities, so they built their own outhouse and have hauled water in with a trailer. Jeff has a couple of solar panels and some batteries for power. Their lifestyle would be considered primitive by most Americans, but it will be far more sustainable in a time of societal unrest and the disruptions that will come with it.

Last week, Jeff and his family marked a major improvement on their property as they now have their own water source. Jeff dug a well, and with the aid of his three daughters he has installed a pump and now no longer has to haul water in on a trailer. A LOT of work went into this project. As I have looked at pictures Jeff has shared with me of the project, I was reminded of Noah and his three sons working on the construction of the ark. Jeff, has had the assistance of his three daughters. These daughters are harder workers than many sons, being quite willing to get down in the dirt and embrace whatever task is at hand.

A number of readers of this blog assisted by sending financial gifts to enable Jeff to purchase the pump for this project. There is a blessing in helping others, and Jeff anticipates that his land will be used to offer a place of refuge to others in the coming days. Jeff tested his well and he is getting a flow rate of 17 gallons per minute. That is quite adequate to supply the personal needs of his family, as well as their animals and garden. Following is a photo montage showing the progress of this project and describing what was involved.

(Click on any image to view larger)

Back in December, the week before Jeff fell while stepping out of the log truck he was driving and slipped on an icy pavement receiving a serious concussion, he borrowed an excavator from his employer to begin the hole needed for a well. Jeff had hoped to dig a deeper well, but the sides of the excavated hole began collapsing making it difficult for him to go beyond 20 feet deep.

Water Found

At a depth of 17 feet Jeff found water and the water soon rose to a level of 15 feet.

Water Rising

In the above image, you can see the walls of the hole caving in, making it impossible to dig deeper using the excavator. Jeff then used the excavator to set the concrete dry well in place. This round piece of concrete pipe with holes in the sides weighed 1,800 pounds.

Dry Well Set in Place - Note the snow falling.

Jeff acquired a dump truck load of wash rock to go around the dry well to keep sand out as he back-filled around the well. The sand and rocks act as a natural filter for the water which flows into the dry well. Jeff had received some 4 foot diameter fiberglass pipe free from a local manufacturer. He used a section of this to form the well shaft before filling the rest of the hole back in.

Fiberglass Shaft Rising from the Excavated Hole

The above picture was taken on December 28th, 2014. The very next day Jeff had his accident while at work and the project was on hold for the next few months.

Cutting the Pipe Down to Ground Level Before Finishing Fill Job

Jeff also put a second pipe into the ground as the hole he had excavated was quite large. This second pipe was 6 feet in diameter and is to be used as a root cellar. The temperature down in the ground is in the low forties year round.

View Down the Well

Jeff needed to deepen the well further, and had hoped to be able to dig an additional 5-6 feet down, but this proved difficult to do. He was able to dig about another 16", and had to place cinder blocks around the edges to keep the dirt from filling the hole back in. Jeff then changed strategy and purchased a sand point, which is pictured below.

The sand point is driven into the ground. The screen around the sand point allows water in while keeping out larger pieces of dirt and rock. This had to be pounded into the ground using a jury rigged pile driver. Jeff first welded together a large steel A-frame. He planned to position this over the well hole and attach a pulley to it to raise a weight that could be dropped acting as a pile driver to pound the sand point into the ground. The A-frame turned out to be too large, and he could not get it set upright over the well. This led to plan B.

Jeff and His Daughters Pounding Sand

Jeff attached a pulley to the end of a pole, and leveraged it with his tractor. The job consisted of repeatedly raising a section of pipe and steel that weighed about 100 pounds, and dropping it onto the end of a section of pipe that was connected to the sand point. After about an hour of doing this himself, Jeff had to employ the labor of his daughters. Finally, the sand point was driven sufficiently deep into the ground.

View Looking Up From Inside the Well

Jeff then needed to cap the top of the well, building a steel frame around the top and concreting it in, providing a base to attach the well head and pump.

Jeff was running short on funds, so instead of purchasing ready made Sakrete which is more expensive, Jeff purchased a bag of Portland Cement. He made a screen to separate sand and gravel, then made a mix of 3 parts gravel, 2 parts sand, and 1 part cement to form the top of the well.

Jeff’s Daughter Kim Separating Sand and Gravel (You Go Girl!)

Jeff then welded a piece of steel to the top (Don’t want anyone falling into the well), with an opening for the PVC pipe which carries water up from the ground.

Almost Done!

Water!

On top of this, Jeff installed the Simple Pump he had purchased. This pump can be operated manually, or with an electric motor. A brother in Christ supplied Jeff with an electric motor which Jeff is attaching to his solar panels and batteries to operate the pump electrically. Jeff said the water temperature in December was 41 degrees Fahrenheit, and in the middle of July it was 44 degrees. There is some sand coming up with the water, so it will have to be filtered before using it for bathing, cooking, or drinking. The Simple Pump can deliver water at a flow of 3 gallons per minute, but doing it manually at an easy pace, the rate is closer to 1 gallon per minute. Praise the Father for water!

This is just one project of many that Jeff and his family have been working on. It is interesting to consider all of the labor that Noah and his family carried out to build the ark and gather food for themselves and the animals that would live aboard the ark for more than a year. It was an immense job. Similarly, I have observed Yahweh leading many of his sons and daughters to invest much “sweat equity” into whatever preparations He has instructed them to make for coming days.

Yahweh’s provision for one brother was to purchase an old 32' motorhome in poor shape and to spend many hours renovating it. One couple was led to purchase a piece of undeveloped land in the Arizona desert and build a home from scratch with their own hands on a very limited budget. They began this project about ten years ago and now it is quite impressive with raised gardens, a chicken coop and bird pens, and a rain water collection system. Speaking of myself, the Father directed me to purchase a 1972 model Carpenter school bus and to convert it to a motorhome. After months of work, I moved into the bus on January 1st, 2011, and have been making improvements to it along the way.

Yahweh could have simply opened up the storehouse of heaven and gifted each person, or family, with a sizeable amount of money, enabling them to purchase a new, fully equipped motorhome, or property, but that is not what He has done. As He did with Noah, He has given direction on what to do and then required that each individual put forth effort to bring it to pass.

One other similarity I have noted in each case is that all of those following the leading of the Holy Spirit have been led to adopt a smaller, simpler, more humble lifestyle. Aside from the fact that such a lifestyle is far more easily sustained, having fewer requirements of energy or monetary resources, I believe Yahweh is testing His children to see if they will be content, even thankful, for whatever type of life He chooses for them. So much sin and wickedness in this world has resulted from covetousness, and a discontentment with God’s provision. It is pleasing to the Father when He finds a heart of gratitude and thanksgiving for the simple things in life; expressions of praise for receiving the bare necessities, and rejoicing when we are given even more.

Yahweh is leading His people into a wilderness experience. Although they may not all live in a literal wilderness, Christians will be tested as the Israelites were. The Israelites left behind their permanent homes in Egypt and dwelt in tents for forty years. They gave up the fish and meats and melons, garlic, cucumbers, leeks, and onions of Egypt. They ate manna and water for forty years. They complained bitterly about this, as if they were suffering greatly. This murmuring displeased Yahweh.

What I observe in Jeff is a heart of thanksgiving. He is grateful for all that God is doing for him and his family. His wife and daughters are content with the provision Yahweh has given to them. They are pursuing interests where God has placed them, making the most of their situation, rather than sitting around moaning about what they gave up when they left Texas. Because he has willingly embraced the path God has appointed to him, Yahweh is enabling Jeff to make steady progress in getting all things in readiness for the coming days.

Attitude is huge! What is your attitude in regard to what Yahweh is leading you to do? Is your heart filled with misgivings, complaints, and excuses? Are you constantly throwing up arguments about how the way before you is too difficult, or that God is requiring too much from you? The way will be very bitter for those who manifest such an attitude. The Israelite experience in the wilderness reveals this to be true.

Brothers and sisters, the time is late. Surrender your will to God with a good heart. Resolve to go wherever He would have you go, and to do whatever He would ask you to do. Do so with a heart of thanksgiving, clothing yourself in humility, and the grace of Yahweh will be abundant in your life.

Can a Christian be a Prepper?

Joseph Herrin (07-23-2015)

I often come up against a common mindset which asserts that it is inappropriate for a Christian to make preparation for difficult days which are approaching. Some suggest that storing up foodstuffs, or making other preparations for coming difficulties manifests a lack of faith. Some have sincerely asked, “Can’t we trust God to take care of us no matter what may be coming?”

Debates over issues such as this often arise as Christians try to figure out themselves what they ought to be doing. A common approach is to look for Scriptures to justify one action, or another. Quite often the individual already has a biased position on the subject, so they look for Scriptures that support their viewpoint.

Pros
Proverbs 6:6-8
Go to the ant, O sluggard. Observe her ways and be wise, which, having no chief, officer or ruler, prepares her food in the summer, and gathers her provision in the harvest.

Proverbs 22:3
The prudent sees the evil and hides himself, but the naive go on, and are punished for it.

Genesis 6:20-22
Of the birds after their kind, of the livestock after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every sort shall come to you, to keep them alive. Take with you of all food that is eaten, and gather it to you; and it will be for food for you, and for them." Thus Noah did. According to all that God commanded him, so he did.

Cons
Matthew 6:31-34
“Do not be anxious then, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'With what shall we clothe ourselves?' For all these things the Gentiles eagerly seek; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Mark 6:8
He charged them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a staff only: no bread, no wallet, no money in their purse...

The problem with searching out Scriptures to support one’s view is that a man can justify any position he desires by this method, and it leads to endless debate by people of opposing views. What is often overlooked is that these Scriptures were often given in specific situations, and were not intended to be used by Christians as inviolable principles to live by. Each situation a Christian encounters requires a fresh revelation from God.

As an example of how situations change, and the instructions of God change with them, consider the last verse cited above. This statement of Christ to His disciples to take nothing on their journey, no extra clothes, no money bag, no food supply, seems to be declaring a general principle. Yahshua was seeking to teach His disciples about faith. He wanted them to trust God to care for them as they set forth to labor in His kingdom. Yet, later on, Yahshua gave His disciples just the opposite instructions.

Luke 22:35-36
And He said to them, “When I sent you out without purse and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” And they said, “No, nothing.” And He said to them, “But now, let him who has a purse take it along, likewise also a bag, and let him who has no sword sell his robe and buy one.”

The only universal and inviolable rule for the Christian to live by is to be led of the Spirit of Christ in all that they do. We are always on safe ground if we do what Yahshua commands us to do.

Romans 8:14
For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

The Bible describes Noah as a righteous man. He walked with Yahweh and gave reverence to the Creator of all things. One day Yahweh spoke to Noah about a great judgment coming to the world. He instructed Noah to build an ark to hold every type of animal, as well as his family. He was commanded to store up food as well. Did Noah manifest a lack of faith when he built the ark? Absolutely not! Noah was demonstrating faith in God as he believed Him and acted in accordance with the divine revelation given.

We see that the critical matter is to hear from God. What He says, we must do. The source of our actions is the primary matter. Are we determining what we will do as we take counsel in our soul? Are we being driven by fear? Or are we being led by the Holy Spirit?

As I look at the Bible I see that God is not opposed to prepping. The term “prepper” has taken on negative connotations. Many think of preppers as people among the lunatic fringe of society. In some instances they are right. Not all prepping is righteous in the eyes of God. There are many who are acting out of self-interest and fear as they stockpile provisions, move to remote locations, and build literal fortresses defended with guns and bullets. It is no more commendable to do such things than it is to do nothing at all. The only praiseworthy action is to do as the Spirit directs.

God has frequently warned people about calamities to come, and given them instructions regarding how to prepare. Noah is the first example of this, but he is far from the last. Later, in the same book of Genesis, we read of God giving Pharaoh, the ruler of the greatest kingdom on earth, dreams that he could not understand. Joseph had the ability to interpret dreams. He was called before Pharaoh. He explained the meaning of Pharaoh’s dreams. Seven years of great plenty were coming which would be followed by seven years of great famine. Yahweh placed wisdom in Joseph’s heart to know what ought to be done.

Genesis 41:33-36
“And now let Pharaoh look for a man discerning and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. Let Pharaoh take action to appoint overseers in charge of the land, and let him exact a fifth of the produce of the land of Egypt in the seven years of abundance. Then let them gather all the food of these good years that are coming, and store up the grain for food in the cities under Pharaoh's authority, and let them guard it. And let the food become as a reserve for the land for the seven years of famine which will occur in the land of Egypt, so that the land may not perish during the famine.”

Joseph told Pharaoh how he could prepare for what was coming upon the earth. Pharaoh recognized that a divine spirit rested upon Joseph, and he acted in accordance. Joseph was appointed overseer of the land and stockpiled grain in the years of plenty. Was Joseph acting contrary to faith? Absolutely not! It was God who revealed what was coming, and it was Yahweh who instructed Joseph to make preparations.

Some may argue, “Yes, but that was the Old Testament. We live in a new age and under a new covenant. We are to trust God to care for us miraculously, and we should not lean on the arm of the flesh.” Such arguments may seem spiritual, but they do not stand up to scrutiny. Yahweh does not always use supernatural means to provide for His people. Sometimes He speaks to the people in the church and informs them to do things that are within their natural ability to accomplish.

Acts 11:27-30
Now at this time some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. And one of them named Agabus stood up and began to indicate by the Spirit that there would certainly be a great famine all over the world. And this took place in the reign of Claudius. And in the proportion that any of the disciples had means, each of them determined to send a contribution for the relief of the brethren living in Judea. And this they did, sending it in charge of Barnabas and Saul to the elders.

Once again we see that the critical thing is to hear from God and do whatever He says to do. When we obey God we are acting in faith. When we walk by the Spirit of Christ our actions are judged to be righteous. The revelation of God was supernatural, for these Christians did not discern by natural means that a famine was coming to all the world. What the believers did to prepare was within their capacity to do naturally, though I have no doubt that Yahweh blessed their efforts.

Here then is the point you need to firmly establish. What is God saying to you? Perhaps your mind is confused because there are so many voices declaring what they believe is coming. Many of these voices are Christian, while many are not. Yet even the unregenerate may have understanding. Remember, the dreams of famine in Egypt were given to Pharaoh, and he was not a worshiper of Yahweh.

It is understandable if you have some confusion regarding what to do. It is at times difficult to divide between soul and spirit. We may feel that we have heard so many dire prognostications from man that our mind has been influenced. How do we know what God is truly speaking? This was the situation in which a sister in Christ recently found herself. This woman is the mother of twelve children, eleven of whom remain at home. Her husband is an engineer, but he has turned down higher paying work so that he might remain in Spokane, Washington, and have time available to minister with his family on the streets of the city. This family lives a modest life and had little money to spare once necessities were paid for.

This Christian woman had been hearing others speak of economic collapse coming to the United States, and descriptions of the social unrest and chaos that would result. She was concerned that if these things were to truly come to pass that her family was not prepared. What would they eat? How would they be supplied? She did not have the funds available to invest in stockpiling supplies for her family. Rather than trying to figure out the matter on her own, she wisely sought out the presence of the Lord and laid the issue before Him.

Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Yahshua.

This sister in Christ prayed, “Lord, if there is going to be a collapse, you see our lack of money. Please send provisions if we are going to need them.” That same day, her husband was at work when his boss approached. She asked if he could use some canned goods. An elderly man she knew was recently widowed. He was clearing out his pantry of food items he could not prepare for himself. This Christian woman’s husband gratefully accepted, not knowing how much food was being freely offered. There were complete cases of food. It completely filled up their mini-van. This Christian woman related that she had not mentioned any specific type of food that God might provide for them, but she loves clam chowder and there were two complete cases of it among the food items they received.

This quick answer to prayer was bittersweet. It was precious to observe how quickly Yahweh had acted to answer her prayer and to provide for them when they lacked the funds to pay for supplies. Yet the blessing was attended with the realization that the Father was affirming that a collapse is coming, and it is not far off.

Others have written to me and stated that they do not have the financial means to make preparations. At times I hear from women whose husbands do not believe anything calamitous is going to happen in this nation. They ask what they can do when their husbands are not in agreement with making preparations. I would advise such ones to do as this woman did in Spokane, Washington. Take the matter before the Lord. If you cannot trust Yahweh now, how will you trust Him in days of trouble?

One positive outcome of days of woe and calamity is that a portion of the people of God are spurred to develop a more intimate, trusting, and obedient relationship to their heavenly Father. Make the most of your predicaments now by pressing into the presence of God. Rather than spending hours browsing the web, reading the words of this person or that, go into your room, close the door, and spend time talking to your heavenly Father. Ask Him to guide you, protect you, provide for you. Let Him search your heart and reveal those things He desires to change in your life. Be humble before your Creator, and trust Him.

In the book of Genesis, we read Joseph’s words when his brothers came to him in Egypt to receive the provision he had stored up.

Genesis 45:6-7
The famine has been in the land these two years, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting. And God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to keep you alive by a great deliverance.

God has a remnant today as well. The majority of those in the church will not look to Yahweh for deliverance in a day of trouble. Most will lean on their own understanding. Many will turn to the beast system of world government to obtain provision and protection in the coming days. A remnant, however, will seek the face of God, listen to His voice, and obey Him with trusting hearts. Even now Yahweh is directing many of His children to make preparations. A great storm is coming to the nations. Yahweh will give each of His sons and daughters instructions on how they are to prepare. He will supply the means as well.

In the second part of this blog post I will report on how God has been guiding and providing for one man and his family as they have surrendered themselves to follow Yahweh wherever He would lead them, and to do whatever He would direct them to do.

To be continued...

Hesitating in Sodom

Joseph Herrin (07-22-2015)

Back in May of this year I posted a blog titled Summer of Preparation.

http://parablesblog.blogspot.com/2015/05/summer-of-preparation.html

In that blog post I shared my belief that Yahweh was giving His children who would heed His words of warning, a season of grace whereby they might make preparations for the very difficult days which are coming to America and the nations. There is no lack of voices, or of significant events arriving in the Fall of the year, which would lead one to conclude that our days of peace and prosperity are numbered. I have been careful to state that Yahweh has not given me a revelation of specific dates. However, my hesitancy to set dates does NOT indicate that the Father has spoken nothing to me about what is coming, or that He has NOT given specific leading in what to do to prepare.

I cannot say that dire events will occur in September, or October, though there are a great many voices declaring such things. These voices are to be found within the church, as well as outside.

Things You Must Do Before September 15th - Lindsey Williams
http://bit.ly/1LD4uVk

(Note: I am deeply concerned about the integrity of Lindsey Williams, so test what he says carefully. I think it is deplorable for a Christian man to tell people that the economy will begin to collapse between September and December, 2015, and then charge them $48 for a DVD to provide them with the details and advice on what to do to prepare. Lindsey Williams is doing this in league with The Prophecy Club. Woe to the prophets who sell their prophecies!)

You can hear a summary of what Lindsey Williams says on his DVD on another poster’s YouTube account, and the information is free.

https://youtu.be/sehEi99lI24

I had a discussion with a brother in Christ recently who posed the question, “Are we being set-up?” Specifically, his question had to do with there being a myriad of voices who are now proclaiming that something dire will occur in September or October of this year. What if Christians embrace these prognostications as true and nothing happens?

What I can state confidently is there are significant events set to occur in this time period: solar and lunar eclipses, the end of the Shemitah year, Yom Kippur, the Feast of Tabernacles, the Pope’s speech to the U.S. Congress and to the United Nations, to name a few. I won’t repeat them all here as I have written of them on numerous occasions. See the post Summer of Preparation linked above.

While avoiding setting dates, there have been a number of credible voices speaking of God revealing to them that some calamitous events are drawing near. In a previous blog posting I mentioned that Anne Graham Lotz, the daughter of Billy Graham, has been sounding a warning message

http://www.annegrahamlotz.org/events/mayday/

Similarly, Carter Conlon, the head pastor at Times Square Church in NYC has been warning of some impending calamity.

https://youtu.be/E04JE2FZHBw

All these words would not have much influence upon me if I were not hearing from the Father for myself. Yahweh has been speaking to me for many years about judgment coming to the nations, and of a time of great trouble. He indicated that my own experiences beginning back in 1999 would foreshadow what was coming to a much larger part of the body of Christ. He had selected me as a forerunner, a pioneer, to serve as a guide to others who must walk a similar path. If you have read my testimony, you know that my path has not been an easy one. I went through bankruptcy in 1999. I was instructed by God to let go of everything, house, custom van, furnishings, a lifetime of accumulated possessions, and to begin anew in a much simpler, humbler life. I was directed by God to lay aside my employment as a computer professional and follow wherever He would lead, performing whatever ministry He appointed to me.

Concurrent with this material stripping, I found myself cast outside the church. Like many before me, I was called to go “outside the camp, bearing the reproaches of Christ” (Hebrews 13:13). I have known the rejection of family, and of friends. I have had the censure of the world. My wife and son left me, having chosen this world rather than the reproaches of Christ. I have twice been cast into jail. I have had seasons of being homeless. I have endured exposure and fasting. I have known loneliness and contended with many fears. Like Paul I can attest to having “conflicts without, and fears within” (II Corinthians 7:5). All these experiences and more, the Father revealed to me, are a foretaste of what His overcoming people must experience in the days ahead.

Yahweh has been preparing a group of forerunning saints who have experienced these trials prior to them coming to the church at large. Most in the church will fall away from Christ in the coming hour of testing.

Matthew 24:10
“And at that time many will fall away and will deliver up one another and hate one another.”

Matthew 13:20-21
“And the one on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, this is the man who hears the word, and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no firm root in himself, but is only temporary, and when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he falls away.”

Don’t misunderstand. Many of these people will not stop confessing Christ. However, they will fashion a Christ according to their own will and desires. This will be a Christ who does not mind if they embrace homosexuality, abortion, or any other evil that the world says must be accepted and celebrated. They will fashion a Christ who does not demand that they deny themselves, or take up their cross to follow Him. They will envision a Christ who is unconcerned with sin or holiness, not unlike the one that Pope Francis, Joel Osteen, or Rick Warren claim to serve.

There will be a remnant, however, who will hold fast to the Son of God in faithfulness and truth. These ones must experience many difficulties, many fiery trials in the hour ahead. In this way Yahweh will separate the sheep from the goats; the overcomers in Christ from those who walk in a manner unworthy of Him. The people of God will be purged, purified, and refined. They will grow in faith and conformity to Christ even as the sins of the flesh and unbelief are cast aside.

Although there will be trials aplenty which cannot be avoided by Yahweh’s holy people, there are things they might do to mitigate their suffering. There are both necessary and unnecessary sufferings. The necessary suffering is that which Yahweh has chosen for us for our perfecting as sons and daughters. The unnecessary suffering is that which results from disobedience, unbelief, or some failure to act in accordance with the will of God. In my own journey I have experienced both types of suffering. As a pioneer and guide, I would counsel you to avoid unnecessary suffering by giving yourself diligently to the pursuit of Yahweh’s will for your life.

Let us look to Lot as an example. The Bible tells us that after Lot separated from Abraham, he eventually settled in Sodom. Day after day this godly man would sit in the gates of the city and observe and hear of all the wickedness there. The Bible informs us of the following.

II Peter 2:7-8
He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day with their lawless deeds)...

Lot saw the immoral conduct of the men of Sodom, and was greatly vexed by it. Nevertheless, he could not find within himself the strength to separate himself from that place. Sodom was a wealthy city. It was prosperous, comfortable, and well situated. There was much that was attractive about the place. Lot’s struggle was revealed when the angels came and visited him. They warned Lot to flee with his wife and daughters, but he hesitated.

Genesis 19:15-16
When the morning came, then the angels hurried Lot, saying, "Get up! Take your wife, and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city." But he hesitated; and the men grabbed his hand, his wife's hand, and his two daughters' hands, Yahweh being merciful to him; and they took him out, and set him outside of the city.

Brothers and sisters, our Lord has told us that the days of tribulation to fall on the earth will come suddenly like they did to Sodom and Gomorrah.

Luke 17:28-30
“It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.”

Listen to what the Spirit of the Lord is speaking! Even now we are experiencing days similar to those of Sodom and Gomorrah. The report of the great wickedness of the nations has arisen up to heaven. Yahweh is warning His people that judgment will delay no longer. There is a remnant who are vexed in spirit as they observe the sensuality, the profaning of all that is holy, the embrace of every form of wickedness in the land. Yet as grieved as many are by the sin around them, and alarmed as they are by the Spirit’s witness that judgment is near at hand, they hesitate.

How hard it is to depart from the comfort and prosperity of Sodom! For every saint in this hour who is heeding the warnings of the Holy Spirit that judgment is at hand, there are a hundred others who hesitate, halted between two opinions. Because Lot hesitated, he lost all he had. He escaped only with the clothes on his back, and with the lives of his two daughters. All his flocks, his herds, his servants, his possessions, even his wife, were lost. Had Lot departed Sodom prior to the angel’s visit, when his soul was vexed as he sat in the gates of the city, he would have been spared much loss and suffering.

I ask you, “Are you acting as Lot in this hour?” Are you vexed at the moral debauchery of the nation in which you reside? Are you hearing the voice of heaven warning you of impending judgment? Do you find yourself still hesitating?

You may be reasoning, “It is too much to lay aside my comfortable life. What if the testimonies of judgment are wrong? What if I sell my home, my possessions, and leave my job to follow wherever the Lord would lead, and judgment does not come?” Brothers and sisters, in such times it is necessary that you apply yourself diligently to divide between the voice of the Spirit of Christ and the voice of your own soul and of the adversary. You need to tarry before God until you know with confidence what counsel Yahweh is giving to you, and to know what counsel is arising from your own soul as you wrestle with fears, covetous desires, and unbelief.

Lot had another problem. By moving to Sodom his wife and family had become attached to the place. No doubt, had Lot suggested to his wife and daughters before the angelic visit that they needed to move from that wicked place, they would have protested. Although sternly warned against doing so, Lot’s wife looked back to Sodom as they were fleeing the city. This act revealed how her affections were linked to that place. The consequence of her disobedience was forfeiture of her life. Christ has a similar warning for those who commit to being His disciples.

Luke 9:62
But Yahshua said to him, "No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."

Brothers and sisters, I am hearing from many of you in this hour. I know that some are hesitating. Many are trying to hold onto the good life until the very last moment. Some will still be grasping it as it crumbles in their hands. The consequences of hesitating will be calamitous. The Spirit of Christ is speaking to many of you, telling you to sell your homes, pare down your life drastically, embrace a humbler, simpler existence, to get out of debt at once, to follow wherever He is directing you, yet like Lot you hesitate. Will you not suffer a similar consequence due to your lingering when you should be acting?

What are you doing with these moments of peace, this season of grace you have been given? Are you letting opportunity slip away from you? Are you spending your days in idleness, in the very things mentioned by Christ when He spoke of the days of Noah and of Lot?

“they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage... they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building...”

We can learn lessons from both Noah and Lot. Of all the people dwelling upon the earth in the days of Noah, only he walked with God. Only Noah was seeking the fellowship of his Creator. Consequently, he heard Yahweh tell him of judgment to come, and he received instruction regarding how to prepare for the coming calamity. Noah applied himself with diligence, and with a good spirit, to do all that the Lord directed him to do. By his faithfulness, he preserved alive a remnant upon the earth of humanity and all creatures.

Noah was willing to be regarded as foolish by all his neighbors and extended family. He alone was preparing for a disaster they did not see. He was preparing for rain when it had never before rained upon the earth. He embraced the life and the ministry Yahweh appointed to him. He did not argue with God. He did not hesitate. He followed, and in doing so he preserved the life of his family.

One might ask, “Were not Noah and his family eating and drinking during the years in which they built the ark? Were they not building? Did they buy nothing during those years? Did they plant nothing?”

Such questions reveal a misunderstanding of what is being communicated. Our Lord was describing a people whose hearts were given over to pleasures and the pursuit of all that the world has to offer. By contrast, Noah’s heart was given to the pursuit of pleasing God. Although he ate and drank and built and planted and purchased, his life was not self-focused or self-directed. His activities were guided by his commitment to know Yahweh’s will and to do it. He was not building his own little kingdom. Noah was seeking the will of God while being content with food and covering for himself and his family.

As I look at the past 16 years since I heeded the call to leave my previous life behind, a life that was typical of a great many Christians in America, I observe an amazing change. Whereas my life had formerly been focused on self, on consumption and personal acquisition, it transformed into a life focused on giving to the needs of others. In my early life up until the age of 38 my life had been largely self-centered, even though I loved God and was more involved in church activities than most Christians. I had been buying ever nicer cars. I married a wife and had children. I purchased a series of nicer and larger homes. I was increasing in material goods, and life was comfortable.

In 1999, Yahweh took me through a great emptying. To say the process was difficult, even painful, would be an understatement. Yet the result of it was great liberty and much spiritual fruit. Yahweh was leading me to come out from the corruption that is called Christianity, and to be led by His Spirit in all my ways. I was challenged by God to accept any lifestyle experience He chose for me, and to embrace whatever work He appointed to me. This was a complete restructuring of my life. The end result looked nothing like the lives of my brothers and sisters in Christ. It differed fundamentally from the life I had known in all my years up to that time.

Gone were the days of living a life whose underlying principles were no different from my lost neighbors. The churches today do not teach new converts that they must lay aside a pursuit of materialism. They do not inform them that they cannot serve both God and mammon. Quite the opposite. The wealthy, prosperous, and successful members of the church are held up as examples to be imitated. The financially well-off have more money to put in the offering plate. Their material success is attractive to lost people who want the same thing. Overlooked is the reality that the underlying principle of selfishness and self-interest remains intact in the churches today. There is no self-denial in being a materially comfortable Christian. One’s focus remains on oneself, one’s own family. Such individuals give to others only after satisfying their own desires. The tendency is to increase their own standard of living whenever possible, giving morsels out of their surplus to others. A life devoted to pleasing God and serving others is seldom understood or apprehended.

I know the protestations which will follow. I have heard them many times over the years. “Joseph, God has not called all of us to quit our jobs and to abandon our manner of living and to live out of a bus! Who would send you support if everyone who read your words quit their jobs?”

There is both great unbelief, and great misunderstanding revealed in such questions. To answer the first objection, I have never instructed anyone to pattern their life after the specific aspects or details of my own. I am not telling anyone to quit their job, divest themselves of all earthly possessions, or to buy a motorhome to be able to travel wherever God would lead them. What I am counseling them to do is to surrender their will and the direction of their life to Yahweh. This is something that the vast majority of Christians have not done. What I have repeatedly urged all those who would be Christ’s disciples to do is to surrender to go WHEREVER Yahshua would lead them, and to do WHATEVER He would command them to do.

If you have never made such a wholesale abandonment of your life into the hands of God, then you have not yet begun to be a disciple of Christ. His invitation was always the same. “Come, take up your cross, and follow Me.” If you are choosing your own course through life, you are not following Christ. If you are choosing for yourself a comfortable material life, you are not taking up your cross.

The events coming to America and the nations are ultimately designed by God to shake the church out of this false form of Christianity that is devoid of self-denial and which knows almost nothing of the surrender of one’s will to God. God will allow the economy to crash; for the fat, material lifestyle enjoyed by so many Christians to collapse. They will lose their homes, their luxury vehicles, their furnishings. Many will escape with nothing more than the clothes on their back. They will not know where their next meal is coming from. Then, set free of the perverted religion that has sought to marry the pursuit of God to the pursuit of mammon, Yahweh will invite His people to set their affections on things above, rather than on the things of this earth.

Most will balk at this. Many will seek succor in the arms of the beast system of this world. They will turn to the government for food and shelter, and vainly try to rebuild the material lifestyle they lost. A remnant, however, will turn their affections to God. Understanding that it was Yahweh who stripped them of their material goods, they will say to the Lord, “Here I am to do with as You please. Show me the way that I might walk in it.”

You don’t have to wait until the economic collapse comes. There will be no reward, no praise, for those who have this present material lifestyle torn from their grasp. If you seek God now, laying everything you are, and everything you possess at His feet, to be disposed of as He directs, there will be great reward. Remember the words of Christ to the rich young ruler.

Luke 18:22
When Yahshua heard these things, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have, and distribute it to the poor. You will have treasure in heaven. Come, follow me."

The opportunity described in these words is fleeting. The time to divest oneself of material goods, houses, and lands is coming to a close. Soon, it will be impossible to sell such things. Many will lose their goods to forfeiture. There will be nothing left to give to the poor, or to make preparations for the life God has chosen for you.

Before the fire fell on Sodom, we were informed that Lot had many flocks and servants. They were so numerous that Lot and Abraham found it necessary to separate and go in different directions. Lot could have sold these flocks and herds and given them to the poor and received treasure in heaven. Yet, all he had perished when fire and brimstone fell from heaven and consumed all the people in the valley and vicinity of Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot was left with neither provision for his own family, or provision to give to others.

Brothers and sisters, you see America being transformed into Sodom and Gomorrah right before your eyes. Warnings of Yahweh’s judgment are being sounded forth from many sources. What has been your response to these things? If your soul is vexed at the unrighteousness in the land, if you are grieved by all you see and hear, you do well. However, if you sit transfixed, hesitating, lingering in the gates of Sodom when the Lord would speak to you to act otherwise, you will bring unnecessary suffering upon yourself.

Are you finding yourself transfixed, unable to move? Then you know the experience of Lot. He was a man of like passions with us. Even with the angels of God urging him with haste to act, and to depart Sodom before the fire fell, he lingered. I am therefore not surprised when so many who read my admonitions find themselves similarly rooted in place, seemingly unable to act upon the words of warning shared with them. I cannot take you by the hands and compel you. You will either act, or not act. The responsibility is yours, and the consequences will be laid at your feet. I pray that you might set your heart to know Yahweh’s will and to do it quickly without further hesitation. The hour is late.

Pitching for the New World Order

A brother in Christ (thank you Edmund) informed me of a new Adidas advertising campaign for two football/soccer shoe lines the company recently introduced. Adidas is a German multi-national corporation. It is the largest sportswear company in Europe, and the second largest in the world after Nike. The name Adidas was formed by combining parts of the first and last names of its owner, Adolph Dassler (Adi being a nickname for Adolph). The company has always used three stripes in its corporate logo, but in more recent years it altered the stripes to form what ostensibly is a mountain, symbolizing the challenges athletes have as they pursue their goals. Those familiar with symbols of the Illuminati, Freemasonry, and other esoteric groups may rightly surmise that to the initiated the symbol is intended to resemble a pyramid. Before Adidas used the pyramid logo, they used a trefoil design, which is still used on some of their products.

Adidas ST Shoe

The shoe above, one of Adidas’ ST line, has a very provocative image on the heel. It was unmistakably intended to display symbols related to Satan worship, symbols which are found in Freemasonry, the Illuminati, and in pop culture.

The Satanic hand sign is quite obvious. Additionally, there is the pyramid, the all-seeing-eye, various pentagrams, and a triple crown atop the pyramid (the crown was cut off in the image above, but can be seen in the previous image).

There is a lot of crossover between the Satanic symbolism one observes in pop culture, especially among musicians and singers in their videos, and in clothing and fashion. Both industries are controlled by a global elite who are servants of Lucifer. Big Sean is a hip hop recording artist. He teamed with Adidas to produce the “Big Sean Pro Model II Players” shoe pictured below.

Note the double pyramids on the front of the laces. That there are designers and marketers at these large multi-national corporations who are serving a Satanic agenda, incorporating occult elements into their works, is readily seen in Adidas’ design for the soccer ball used during the 2010 World Cup which was held in Johannesburg, South Africa. I wrote of this in the article titled The Sun Will be Darkened  - Part Three. Following is an excerpt.

http://parablesblog.blogspot.com/2010/07/sun-will-be-darkened-part-three.html
---
Last year I did research to prepare for a series that I never finished, or published. This series was tentatively titled “Baal Worship in America.” The name Baal, although pronounced as “Bay-el” by many Americans, is more accurately spoken as “Bah-all.” Strong’s Concordance lists it in the following way:

OT:1168 Ba`al (bah'-al); the same as OT:1167; Baal, a Phoenician deity: -Baal, (plural) Baalim.

As I was researching this subject last year I came across a thought provoking series that examines the rules and play of major sports, observing in them symbolism relating to Baal worship. These “Ball games” (pronounced similarly to Baal Games) are reminiscent of the ancient sporting events held in honor of pagan deities, and have many associations with the sensual and idolatrous religions attached to false deities.

Alexander Hislop in the book The Two Babylons reveals that Nimrod, the founder of Babylon (Genesis 10:9-10) was an original of the god called Baal, which in the Hebrew means “Lord,” “Master,” or “Mighty One...”

Going back to the subject of Ball Games and their relationship to Baal Games, many of the ancients would hold sporting events in conjunction with the worship of local deities. This was the origin of the Olympics, and the reason for the construction of many stadiums throughout ancient civilizations such as Phoenicia and Rome. The games would be dedicated to the gods, and indeed they continue to do so, although stealthily in many instances...

The most profound testimony of (the 2010 World Cup) and its link to Baal worship has not yet been touched upon. It is the name given to the ball created by Adidas for this event. Jabulani...

In one rite of Freemasonry, considered by them to be extremely sacred, three men come together to proclaim the name of the god they serve. This act is performed by men who reach the level known as Royal Arch Freemasons. Each man will come together, join hands in a convoluted form (similar to the patterns on some soccer balls) and proclaim the name of the deity they serve.

Note that in this depiction of the ritual being performed by Royal Arch Freemasons, the delta (curved triangle) is formed multiple times as the name of their god, Jahbulon is pronounced. Consider now the changes Adidas made to this soccer ball, and the shapes formed on its surface. Rather than using the common design of a soccer ball that incorporates 32 hexagonal panels, this ball has only 8 panels, and the design on the ball is that of three 3-dimensional rounded triangles.

The name given to the deity of Freemasonry is actually a joining of the names of three deities. These are Jah, Bul, and On. The following information is provided by the website Wikipedia.

According to Stephen Knight..., the word is a compound of the names of three gods worshiped in the ancient Middle East.

* Jah (= Yahweh)
* Baal
* On, a name in Genesis in the Bible (in "Potiphar priest of On"), thought in older times to be a name of Osiris (but now known[by whom?] to be the Hebrew form of the Ancient Egyptian name of the city of Heliopolis).
[Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jahbulon]

This becomes the name ascribed to Lucifer who ever desires to make himself like the Most High...

That Satan is known as  Baal, is revealed in the words of Christ.

Mark 3:22-24
And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said,"He has Beelzebub," and, "By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons." So He called them to Himself and said to them in parables: "How can Satan cast out Satan?”

In this passage we see that the name Beelzebub and Satan are equated with one another. Beelzebub is described in Strong’s Concordance in the following manner:

OT:1176 Ba`al Zebuwb (bah'-al zeb-oob'); from OT:1168 and OT:2070; Baal of (the) Fly; Baal-Zebub, a special deity of the Ekronites:

Is it not interesting that the ball above has been described as resembling the face of a fly? Look closely at the following two images together.

Note that Adidas has even formed the pattern of the triangles by using a much touted 3D technology. This 3D technology gives the appearance a much enhanced look, making it appear even more as the eyes of a fly.

[End Excerpt]

Although this is a somewhat lengthy introduction to this writing, I wanted to demonstrate to the reader that companies like Adidas are controlled by Luciferians and they do incorporate Satanic messages in their products and marketing. “The whole world lies in the power of the evil one.” Hopefully, you can now accept the assertion that this new marketing campaign by Adidas incorporates an occult message from Satan and his human servants to the masses of mankind. The message needs little interpretation, as it is cloaked only by the suggestion that what is being said pertains to the football field. If we discard this deceit and understand that it is actually a message for the nations, describing an upcoming global conflict, we will readily understand what is being declared. The elite of this world will incite chaos so that they might ultimately control everything. They will cause the entire globe to erupt into economic, political, and social mayhem in order that the old system of this world can be destroyed and a New World Order established in its place.

Rule the Game/Control Everything

The marketing masters at Adidas have created an advertising campaign built around two newly released shoe lines that serves as a forum to declare Satan’s plans for the earth. The goal of the global elite, the servants of Satan, is to “Rule” and to “Control Everything.” They will obtain their goal by unleashing chaos upon the earth.

Destroy Order/ Cause Chaos

Adidas X and Ace

The symbol for the Ace shoe line is a stylized letter A. It looks like an inverted letter V. Placing the shoes side by side as they are in the picture above, their respective logos form the Roman numeral XV, or 15. The present year is 2015. It is significant that Adidas debuted these shoes to the world at the 2015 UEFA Championships League Final in Berlin on June 6, 2015.

You may recognize this date as coinciding with the Belmont Stakes, the final competition of American horse racing’s Triple Crown. It was on this same date that American Pharoah won the Triple Crown while being sponsored by Monster Energy whose corporate mantra is “Unleash the Beast!” Consequently, on two different continents, on the same date, at major sporting events, Satan and his human servants gave a testimony of what is coming to the earth.

The Adidas’ campaign has employed the tactic of telling football/soccer fans to “Choose Sides.” The Adidas Soccer page includes the following statements.

SOCCER IS CHANGING. IN THE STYLE AND WAY IT IS PLAYED AND IN THE TYPES OF PLAYERS WHO GRACE THE GAME.
FOR A TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU NEED TWO TYPES OF PLAYERS – PLAYMAKERS WHO ORCHESTRATE AND CONTROL EVERYTHING, AND GAMECHANGERS WHO SMASH THE DEFENSE AND CAUSE CHAOS.
PICK YOUR SIDE AND BE THE DIFFERENCE.

The small print under the X15 shoe states:

Destroy order with the X15. The new X-CLAW stud configuration allows for unpredictable movement on the pitch and the revolutionary X-CAGE gives you the stability you need for your game changing play. Smash the defense. Cause chaos.

Notice the emphasis here is to overcome the defense by sowing chaos among them. Trademarked terms in this product are X-CLAW and X-CAGE. Both of these words evoke references to martial law; people being apprehended, rounded up, and placed in detention. Under the ACE15 shoe, it states:

Rule the game with ACE15. CTRL/WEB upper makes your first touch killer and the unique GROUND/CONTROL studs let you control the ball like never before. Control everything.

Once again, we see that a ball game is being used as a metaphor for world conquest. Of significance is the trademarked “CTRL/WEB” upper on the shoe. CTRL is an abbreviation for “Control” and the word WEB is used synonymously as a reference to the Internet. What is being forecast is the ruling powers taking control of the Internet. In doing so they will effectively control the flow of information. They will truly be able to “control... like never before.” The voice of the opposition will be silenced. Without the ability to communicate, those opposed to the global rulers will be at a significant disadvantage.

In another set of ads for these shoes, the following words are displayed.

Adidas Ace15
Own every minute. Dominate every possession. Grind down your opponents. These men's soccer cleats are for the player who is always in control. The one who is unbeatable in the attacks and unbreakable on defense, with a skill set that moves every play and finishes every chance.

Adidas X
Cause chaos. Destroy order. Seize the spotlight. These men's soccer cleats are for the creative playmaker, the one who pulls chances out of nowhere and the one who will never be caught. Always unmistakable, always unpredictable.

In a time of chaos, where events are happening rapid-fire, with the unexpected occurring continuously, an environment will be created for the governments to declare martial law. No longer will the constitutions of the nations protect the rights of the citizens. A new set of rules will be in play. These rules will favor the elite who are in power, who hold the reins of finance, government, and the military.

It is all being forecast by the cunning marketing campaign Adidas has chosen for their newly released shoe lines. In one sense, the powers-that-be are inviting people to choose which side they will be on. Will you be for them, or against them?

Will you be an anarchist, sowing chaos, destroying infrastructure, lashing out in seemingly random and unpredictable ways? Or will you join those who rule? Will you become a member of the beast system that seeks to suppress or annihilate all opposition? These are the two options that the world rulers want to force everyone to take. This makes things very simple for them. You are either for them and declared to be a loyalist and a friend to mankind, or you are against them and labeled as an enemy combatant.

There is a third option, however. It is the option that Yahweh would have His sons and daughters to choose. This alternative is to see yourself as an alien and a stranger in this world. It is to disengage from the conflict, refusing to take sides, knowing that the One to whom you hold allegiance is not the ruler of either of the aforementioned groups. Numerous Christians are sharing that the following Scripture has been coming into their thoughts in recent days.

Isaiah 26:20
Come, my people, enter into your rooms, and close your doors behind you; Hide for a little while, until indignation runs its course.

A time of great chaos, death, and destruction is coming to the earth. There are spiritual forces of wickedness which have been unleashed to drive men to act as beasts. Restraint will be removed from the earth.

Seeing that the servants of Satan are making plans for the game that is about to be played on a global scale, should you not be seeking God to know how you might prepare? Even as it would be folly to enter into a soccer match against a well trained, highly disciplined opponent without any practice or preparation, it is unwise for Christians to walk blindly into the events that are coming having taken no thought for what is coming, nor having made any preparations.

Proverbs 22:3
A prudent man sees danger, and hides himself;
But the simple pass on, and suffer for it.

Understand that I am NOT advocating that those who read these words act out of fear, guided by the counsel of their own souls. Those who are disciples of Christ are to be led of the Spirit, not driven by lesser motives. Many, however, are not attuned to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Many are living carelessly, behaving as if the days of peace and prosperity will never end. Ignorance is NOT bliss.

Proverbs 10:21
Fools die for lack of understanding.
