Regarding your second question about...continued...

Regarding your second question about why certain nations prosper though they too have much wickedness, I believe there are various reasons. Although America is growing progressively darker, there remains a remnant of faithful Christians in her midst. There is also still a significant amount of Christian influence in society. America's cup of iniquity is quickly becoming full, but for the sake of the righteous in her midst, Yahweh has not yet fully withdrawn His hand of blessing.

Haiti, by contrast, is a nation whose very government is overtly given over to the worship of Satan. Voodoo has been declared an official religion of the nation. A common expression in Haiti is "Haitians are 70% Catholic, 30% Protestant, and 100% voodoo." There is nothing Yahweh despises more than the mixing of the holy and the profane.

Yahweh has also established times for various nations to rise and fall. We see that Egypt was a great empire, powerful and wealthy, for many centuries, yet it was a land of idolatry. Babylon also was a land of people who were fiercely devoted to idols, yet they too waxed great for a season.

In the end, however, Yahweh judges every nation for its sins. America's judgment will be particularly severe because she had so much light, but chose the darkness instead.

Joseph Herrinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14729899526301330525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6945380218619316662.post-37864224976660037832013-09-09T12:18:44.222-04:002013-09-09T12:18:44.222-04:00Hello Mark,
Thank you for the further clarificati...Hello Mark,

Thank you for the further clarification on your original comment/question. We have the same type of welfare system here in America that rewards single mothers with government benefits. It is widely abused, even as the system you described there in England.

There is no denying that a woman can have selfish motives in birthing children just to get a free ride on the government dole. It happens all too often. The truth is, sinful people are going to act in sinful ways. I may recognize the sinfulness of their actions, but I am not going to protest, campaign, or otherwise seek to amend the situation through the courts. The apostle Paul stated:

I Corinthians 5:11-13
I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he should be an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler - not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church? But those who are outside, God judges.

When I write, the audience I have in mind is Christians. My counsel, therefore, is directed at those who have the Spirit of Christ.

Whether a Christian is poor, or wealthy, they are to be led of the Spirit of Christ in all they do. Yahweh has promised to care for ALL His sons and daughters. He will manifest His provision for the poor family with many children. His arm is not shortened. He is the same God today that provided for 600,000 men, along with women and children, in the wilderness for 40 years.

My own life these past 14 years has provided ample evidence that Yahweh will provide for all the needs of those who seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. If we will follow Him wherever He directs, He will become the surety for our lives. He will provide for every need.

Sadly, most Christians are living according to the pattern of this fallen world. There are many who take advantage of government benefits, when Yahweh would have them look to Him for provision and be content with what He provides.

Please do not misunderstand me. I do believe there are legitimate reasons for Christians to partake of government benefits. If they paid into the social security system all their lives, it is not immoral for them to draw benefits from this system when they are of eligible age. I am sure there are many other legitimate reasons to receive government benefits.

I do believe, however, that an hour is coming when Christians will have to look to Yahweh for all of their needs. The alternative will be to embrace the beast system of this world, receiving the mark of the beast.

continued...Joseph Herrinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14729899526301330525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6945380218619316662.post-90634436456255866982013-09-09T02:33:31.224-04:002013-09-09T02:33:31.224-04:00Hi Joseph. Reading your writings does force me often to reevaluate the way I think and view certain matters.

My point I was trying to make in my original post was that some people who are considered relativly poor can also express selfishness by having children solely in order to receive more benefits from the uk government which they use to buy luxeries for themselves. My comment was not aimed at believers who are poor.

In regards to haiti and africa, there are also other countries that practise simular satanic rituals but do not seem to be blighted with poverty as much as those countries. Why is this?

I remember shortly after the devestating earth that struck haiti a few years ago some ppl were saying it was an act of God for voodoo etc practised in haiti. If that is true (which i dont know) then would other places suffer the same fate? The city of london and washington are occultic in their very architecture. India has a blatant idolotrous religion but is growing economic power.

Thanks Mark St

Thanks

Mark Stanon11https://www.blogger.com/profile/00620684396220490698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6945380218619316662.post-91826686603061917882013-09-08T20:15:14.656-04:002013-09-08T20:15:14.656-04:00continued...

You may not have the resources in hand to pay the added expense of raising children "BEFORE" you have children. Yahweh does not give His people what they need UNTIL they need it. If He decides to bless a man and woman with children, will He not also given them all they need to raise that child? Indeed, He will.

Throughout the Scriptures, the righteous ALWAYS desired children. There is NEVER an example of a godly man or woman intentionally trying to prevent themselves from having children. It is a serious act of usurpation of the authority of Yahweh for a Christian to choose to intentionally render themselves sterile. To do so goes against all righteousness. It is a violation of the character of God, for He is a life-giver.

I am deeply grieved when I consider how casually Christian men and women embrace the ways of a spiritually darkened world as they render themselves sterile by using birth control pills, by the woman having her tubes tied, or by using other forms of birth control. By doing so they are fighting against the life that Yahweh has blessed. They are fighting against the natural process of life that Yahweh has established in His creation.

I sincerely urge you to seek the mind of Christ on this matter. God's ways are not man's ways. There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is death.

May you be blessed with peace and understanding in these days.Joseph Herrinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14729899526301330525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6945380218619316662.post-74107667502643451062013-09-08T20:04:01.575-04:002013-09-08T20:04:01.575-04:00Hello Mark,
Your question is not silly, but it do...Hello Mark,

Your question is not silly, but it does reveal the amount of unbelief that is present among Christians today. There is certainly an absence of a practical reckoning on the power and presence of God when any person assumes that they will not be able to afford children.

The situation is different for people who are serving pagan gods. The deep poverty in Haiti is largely due to the predominance of Satan worship, Voodoo, and other Luciferian practices that the people have embraced. The same is true in many of the African nations that are deeply mired in poverty, famine, and disease. It would be a mistake for a Christian, a son or daughter of the Living God, to judge whether they are able to afford to raise children as if they are serving a false god. To compare themselves to such ones, and to make decisions in the same way as a pagan who cannot count on the presence of Yahweh, is nothing but gross unbelief.

Yahshua has given many precious promises to those who are His disciples and who will devote their lives to following Him. He has said:

Matthew 6:25-34
"For this reason I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single cubit to his life's span? And why are you anxious about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory did not clothe himself like one of these. But if God so arrays the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more do so for you, O men of little faith? Do not be anxious then, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'With what shall we clothe ourselves?' For all these things the Gentiles eagerly seek; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself."

Continued...
Joseph Herrinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14729899526301330525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6945380218619316662.post-79473054636638303852013-09-08T18:19:34.632-04:002013-09-08T18:19:34.632-04:00Sorry if this sounds like a silly comment but isnt...Sorry if this sounds like a silly comment but isnt it just as selfish to have children when one cannot afford to provide even the most basic requirements ie decent housing, good food and clothing. In the Uk we have a benefit system where the government will u give you money if u are poor and have children. The govt will give houses to poor families mainly single mothers and pay their rent.

What happens is that some young women will delibetatly get repeatedly pregnant so they can get a bigger house and more benefits. So they use their children as a free ticket to get what most ppl have to work their entire lives for. these ppl will have large houses filled with luxuries but their children will usually be malnurished, dresed in worn out clothes.

Taken to the extreme in placed like africa whrere people cannot even feef themselvex they bring children inyo s life of extreme poverty. is this not aldo selfish?
Thanks

Mark Stanon11https://www.blogger.com/profile/00620684396220490698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6945380218619316662.post-79071439859501580382013-09-06T10:39:51.218-04:002013-09-06T10:39:51.218-04:00And when you look at foreign aid statistics measur...And when you look at foreign aid statistics measured by the percentage of GDP, which is the most honest view of looking at it, America comes behind even one of the poorest western nations in the world and by far the most hit in this great recession, Greece! The earthly husband/father plants his seed in fertile ground (the female). It is a smack in the face of FATHER, for a man to plant his 'seed' in a place where waste comes out. Nothing 'good' can come of it except for as you say, pure selfishness.
I would say that the homosexual man loathes himself. Once we go beyond selfishness, we tend to loathe ourselves.
I really appreciated your article because it brought home the idea of how covetousness and selfishness can turn into self glorification as seen in homosexuality.

Peace,
DeirdreDeirdrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00803449154499273706noreply@blogger.com
