My Thanks

Joseph Herrin (04-22-2010)

The responses to yesterday’s post have been overwhelming. I am truly encouraged to see what a wonderfully supportive and compassionate remnant that the Father has reserved unto Himself. I thank all of you for your affirmations and encouragement. I especially thank you for your prayers and invite you to continue to lift up these meetings this week-end. I hope to have audio recordings from the meetings that can be shared with the body of Christ.

As I am preparing to go on the road tomorrow, I am giving my Internet pulpit to another today. John MacArthur will be filling this spot.

A sister in Christ sent me two wonderful videos by Pastor MacArthur. (Thank you Brandy.) The message he is conveying goes right along with the recent posts on the Biblical view of slavery, and the cost of discipleship. I was truly impressed to hear such a well known minister speaking clearly the truth of the disciple’s relationship to Christ. I encourage all who have time to watch these videos. The first is 16 minutes in length, and the second in just under ten minutes.

God Bless you Joseph as you go to follow the path He is leading you on. You are a great encouragement to me and I will be praying that many at the meetings will hear what the Father wants you to share! May the Lord Himself go before you, may His enemies be scattered and may those that hate Him flee before His presence in you!

Dear Joseph,

I am late in replying to your previous post, but please know that you are indeed in our prayers, especially last night and today. Please do not be discouraged.

Joseph,

I lift you up often. Your messages are hard, and they stretch me and help take me to new levels of knowledge about God. I am very happy to be fed something besides milk. I will continue to lift you up in prayer as the spirit leads me. Thank you for being a great teacher and example.

Kim

How much better it is to receive correction that flattery! Blessed be the Lord and he who comes in the Name of the Lord. You are a voice crying in the wilderness. Many years ago, I heard the Lord say, "Don't be afraid of the wilderness". There have been hard times and hard places since then, but the Lord has proved His Faithfulness over and over again. He will continue to do so for he who has an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church.
